Enjoy a wholesome snack with these Healthy Cherry Granola Bars, made using our 100% Pure Cherry Juice. These bars are not only delicious but also packed with nutritious ingredients, making them a perfect on-the-go snack or a midday energy boost.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 Cup Almonds, chopped
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
- 1/4 Cup Flaxseeds
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Eden Orchards 100% Pure Cherry Juice
- 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon A pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a 20x20cm-baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped almonds, chopped walnuts, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and raisins. Stir to mix well.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the maple syrup, cherry juice, peanut butter, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is evenly coated and well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan. Use the back of a spoon or your hands to press the mixture firmly and evenly in to the pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the granola bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper. Let them cool completely before cutting in to bars.
- Store the granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
