Gary Bignell has been growing and selling cherries in New Zealand since he was a teenager. Then with the support of Steph, three children, and a few more decades of experience, Gary began to look at the ways in which he could improve on the industry he loved.
Our Mission
We bring the health-transforming benefits of New Zealand-grown fruit to our customers. Our 100% Pure Juice range harnesses the natural presence of melatonin, tryptophan, anthocyanins and other antioxidants found in Cherries and Blueberries, to support you with sleep, joint and general well-being.
Our Ethos
Our business is fundamentally driven by sustainability, with a focus on minimizing waste in the fruit industry. Established to address the disposal of cosmetically damaged fruit, particularly processing-grade cherries from our family orchard, our company transforms these otherwise discarded fruits into high-quality, primary products.
You may have spotted them in a social media post already, but we’d like to introduce our founders Gary and Steph and their son Cameron.
Along with the wider team and support from the two other Bignell siblings, Eden Orchards has grown into a much-loved and thriving business across New Zealand and Australia.
